A pint of water before meals is the secret to losing weight, scientists claim

How The Rules Of “Diet” Change Everyday!
Drinking around a pint of water before each meal could help obese people lose weight, a new study has found. Recently The Daily Mirror of UK released some analysis of a study about reducing weight by drinking water. The research provides many remarkable findings, and its valuable to share these finding with our readers.
Researchers from the University of Birmingham monitored the progress of 84 obese people over a 12-week period. According to their research:
“The patients were given advice on how to adapt their lifestyle with better food and exercise. A total of 41 were then told to “preload” with 500ml of water before every meal and the remaining 43 were told to imagine they had a full stomach before eating”.
During this period the patients:
“Those who reported preloading before all three main meals lost an average of 4.3kg (9.48lbs) over the 12 weeks, whereas those who only preloaded once, or not at all, only lost an average of 0.8kg (1.76lbs)”.
They were encouraged to drink tap water as sparkling water, sodas or sweetened drinks were not allowed as part of the study. Dr Helen Parretti, National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) clinical lecturer at the University of Birmingham, said:
“The beauty of these findings is in the simplicity” She also added “Just drinking a pint of water, three times a day, before your main meals may help reduce your weight”.
This is true because, “When combined with brief instructions on how to increase your amount of physical activity and on a healthy diet, this seems to help people to achieve some extra weight loss – at a moderate and healthy rate.
“It’s something that doesn’t take much work to integrate into our busy everyday lives.”
This are simple weight loss therapy that works well with time.
